Community Update
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) has started on Tuesday in San Francisco and Game Director Craig Morrison together with others from Funcom are busy letting the press know about the Rise of the Godslayer expansion. So there will be lots of news and information coming in the next weeks on various websites about what has been shown there. We will of course make sure to provide you with links to new articles when they are starting to show up on the web.
The production team is still busy preparing everything for Update 1.07 which will mainly pave the road for the expansion as well as getting the actual expansion ready for release. There have been questions from players after the last community update about what might be in store in terms of PvP content and additions. We have put together a short overview of developer quotes which outline the current plans and rough time frame for this topic. We are aware that this is not answering all of the questions but since the information has not changed lately, it does make sense to again point out what the plans are in that regard.
Last but not least - we slightly tweaked the information layout on the launcher window yesterday. You now find important information such as Server Status, current client Version (including a link to the update notes of that version) and the date and time of the next update (if already available) all on top of the launcher.
